DEAR FANS,

It’s proving to be an emotional time. We’re on our last few episodes. As always

thank you for ALL your support. It’s been a wonderful experience that I will treasure.

I know it’s not easy for fans to come to terms with the idea of closure. We all

deal with it on our own ways. What is important is to respect each other. We are

all part of the journey regardless of whether we are fans, cast or crew.

One day I’d like to address some questions on twitter in the future. For now, I do

not have the time and I hope you will continue to respect that, and be patient.

Once again, I am not on twitter, nor is my husband or family. We do not have the

time. Unfortunately, there are those who call themselves fans who manipulate

others into believing this is not true. There are fans/friends who may appear protective,

as a result.

As always, I’m very grateful to be part of Smallville and grateful to have the support

of fans. Thanks to Nadia at DM and everyone else, Kryptonsite, IMDB, Wild

Cherry etc. Respect we are all part of this wonderful positive journey.

This weekend WB had a press junket in Vancouver for a variety of shows, including Smallville.
While other shows seemed to have 2-4 cast members there for promotion, it appears Smallville only sent one. The lovely & friendly Erica Durance.
Upon leaving Ms. Durance (with her husband in tow) came over to the 2 of us waiting & signed a couple autographs each & did a photo with.

 Erica Durance will be one of the guests to the panel of Television Critics Association of the CW this Friday. 

A TCA Press Tour allows the major television networks, cable networks and the Public Broadcasting Service to present their slate of upcoming programs to a large group of press writers from different outlets all at once through panels and interviews. These biannual conferences involve registered TCA members staying at a chosen Los Angeles venue for two to three weeks, and each network is assigned a series of days to showcase their programming

The Flickcast: What do you love most about Smallville fans?

Erica Durance: You know, it’s just neat to see how many people love the show and are so excited about it. Thank God. I know that’s why we’re here 10 years later, or me only since 7. They’re so supportive and so excited and initially they weren’t with me.

So they’ve come around. But in fairness I wasn’t part of the mythology, Lois wasn’t, so that makes sense, so I can understand. It’s a beloved story and I kinda kicked in and invaded it, but they’ve been really, really positive now.

IGN TV: After years of Clark keeping a big secret from Lois, is it interesting to be able to play out a scenario where she now has this knowledge, but is keeping it a secret herself?

Erica Durance: Yes. It's a power shift and it gives me the chance to show the kind of love she has for Clark, which is, "I accept you where you're at. I accept you, even though you are keeping a secret from me, because I know that you have a reason and it's difficult for you." And that's pretty huge.
